WDCQ-TV Ch. 19 down

Post by Martin Stett » Tue Jan 03, 2023 2:16 pm

Our Delta College Public Media WDCQ-TV broadcasting transmitter experienced a major coolant system failure and our TV channels are currently unavailable over the air. We apologize for the extended outage as we get the new parts and coolant we need to resume operation. We anticipate delivery soon and plan on being back on-air later this week. Our main channel (19.1) is still available to watch live on the PBS app or on our website. Thank you.

Here's the scoop from someone that works at Delta. (not in broadcasting anymore)

Heard that a connector blew out on the coolant system on Dec 23. Yesterday I heard they got the coolant line repaired, system flushed out, and new coolant installed. Ch 19 was back on the air last night.
