Mid-Michigan Now's coverage of today's downtown Holly fire was excellent.. Starting out in the 5, with live coverage in the 6. 12 and 5 were running network packages and other fluff stories. Were they unaware of the fire or just unable to pivot away from the script in order to cover breaking news. Great job MMN!

Good job! Sounds like things are looking up since stink/unm was given his walking papers!

ABC12’s coverage was/is an embarrassment. The had live pics off the top of their 6pm newscast with very little information.

And their website story has the downtown spelled “downton”.

I didn’t see any coverage from WNEM, but since they have virtually no viewership from the southern tier of counties, it’s likely not going to be missed.

WEYI had good coverage but also isn’t widely viewed. I doubt that dominance in a story from Holly (Oakland County — Detroit DMA) is going to have any impact. However a win is a win…

ABC12 has done very poorly on several big news stories lately. This fire, the house explosion, and Oxford. First indpth everywhere is a laughable motto

ABC 12 seems to becoming a starter station. Meteorologists doing the news on weekends. Very classy Denise. Not. The place is right up there with a public access channel.

ABC12 has so many spelling and grammatical errors on its website that it’s hard to read. On the Holly story, Rachael’s story on Holly residents “devested” after massive fire destroys memory filled businesses. Use the CMS’s spellcheck!
