The return of daylight savings time makes our colleagues at WNEM cringe since they will get some unwanted national attention for one of the best bloopers ever… with the infamous “Turn your cocks back” graphic.

Not to be outdone, WEYI needed constant critter control when doing newscasts out at our old broadcast facility on Williard Road. Bats and raccoons would make frequent guest appearances in studio because someone would leave the garage door open to the studio.

WNEM should always roll with the changing of cocks back when it becomes Standard time spring the cocks forward in the spring LOL. I'm hoping that the US does away with changing of the clocks just pick the standard time which I prefer or go to DST I'm sure young kids going to school wouldn't want to wait for the bus in the dark, as the sun wouldn't come up until 9AM. Let's stop changing the cocks twice a year.
