Abc12 audio and programming issues

Post by Kincade3072 » Mon Nov 01, 2021 6:49 am

Anyone else noticing audio issues again on Abc12? Keeps making a popping noise and then lose volume entirely here. Also the programming issues, they play alot of infomercial during regular programming times

I noticed the audio issues during Sunday’s 6pm newscast. Very distracting

I sent an email to Skip Orvis (director of engineering) back on September 12th about this, and he never replied, though it seemed to get better after that. Here's his email addy, if you want to send an email yourself:

We should be discussing Cheri Hardmon's constant stumbling and bumbling thru newscasts. That and the sports departments constant obsession with a certain Flint high school that's been going on for years.

I’ve brought it up before as she’s a completely horrible anchor and should never be near an anchor desk. She might be a decent reporter only because she can edit her drops. I see where Mallory Pearson is doing reporting on the evening news. When she’s filled in on the weekends, she’s been excellent.
