Sinclair So White

Post by sinklair » Mon Oct 04, 2021 7:10 am

One of Neille-Ann’s news Director buddies is looking for a job after being fired only when his racist newsroom environment became public:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2 ... afro-wigs/

While 25-66 isn’t (yet) pulling this type of BS, the fact is like Little Rock, Flint — with a large minority population — has ZERO persons of color in upper management roles:

General manager: white
News Director: white
Director of Sales: white
Promotions Director: white
Chief Engineer: white
Creative Services Director: white
Business Manager: white
HR Director: white

We may not be putting up “Mammy Dolls” and wearing Afro wigs on air, but systematic racism is alive and well at Sinclair and 25-66! Don’t let their faux outrage fool you. It’s just a show Sinclair puts on when it gets caught. If they were serious about diversity, they would be training and promoting minorities into management positions long ago.

So to solve Sinclair’s racism problem in Little Rock, the Corporate Death Star goes with a Sinclair insider,

https://www.arkansasonline.com/news/202 ... -director/

Nothing says they want to fundamentally shake things up like going with someone who actively follows the Sinclair playbook.

Just like 25-66, where we still don’t give any management opportunities to persons of color.

Should should never 'give' anyone a management opportunity!!

They should earn it!!

To do otherwise is just capitulation and compromise, which is no way to be successful!!
