Driving on snow is lot better than slop.

Salt should be banned - plus it damages the environment, roads and cars.

My sister said that in New Mexico they use crushed up coal instead of salt. Better on the cars.

Actually it's lava rock not coal. In my opinion it's just as bad because the entire front of your car gets chipped up and your window gets replaced about every two years.

Can you imagine how clogged up the drainage system would get it you were using coal or lava rock widespread?

It's actually a pretty neat system , They come by and pick it back up and put it in piles for the next storm . It's too big to be washed down a storm drain
