Ahmad already teaches broadcast meteorology at Central Michigan University. We need him more than he needs us. The disrespect shown by 25-66 management by not promoting him to Chief Met when Jamie Kagol was let go... then telling him to do all the extra work with no pay increase... is ridiculous. Ahmad’s done it without complaining. Why? I have no idea. But I don’t blame him should he leave the flaming turd pile of a station that is 25-66. The only people to blame if Ahmad is to leave is the uncaring newbie GM, the incompetent News Director and the corporate Death Star’s representative Lame Michaelson.

Who would take over the weather if Ahmad left if he has a cushy job at CMU why do weather for 25-66.

Who knows at this point. That’s why we can’t afford to lose Ahmad. I certainly don’t trust the In Over Her Head News Director to make a smart hiring choice if this importance.

He is loyal to the viewers, whom know how good he is. His excitement over weather and other geological events in other parts of the world brings an added teaching moment. I really enjoy the time he takes to explain everything that is going on in the forecast, as a meteorologist should do. If he leaves, that may be a final nail for 25-66.

How local would you like to have them? One for Auburn, One for Freeland, one for Birch Run, one for Indiantown?
