While local journalists try to avoid weighing in on politics, apparently WEYI owner/David Smith’s only black friend Armstrong Williams apparently doesn’t think that rule should apply to him.

In another rambling Facebook post, Williams advocates Congressional Republicans to ignore President elect Biden’s electoral college victory. Then he challenges social media on Facebook. And he says free speech isn’t free.
This is coming from the station owner! If we made comments like this on air or social media, we would rightfully be fired. However the rules of being fair and politically independent apparently doesn’t apply to this a**hat.
And apparently Armstrong doesn’t believe in the travel restrictions to prevent the spread of COVID. That video doesn’t look like his hometown of Washington DC. What an idiot! And a creepy beach stalker!
Acceptable registrations in the queue through March 30 at 9:00a ET have now been activated. Enjoy! -M.W.

Armstrong Williams has lost it
Re: Armstrong Williams has lost it
Armstrong Williams also has a show that is aired very early Sunday morning on WWMT at 3:30AM & 7AM on sister TV station CW7. I'm sleeping when it is on I have no interest in the show the only person to vote conservative in DC.
Go Pistons, Let's Go Redwings.

25 owner and David Smith’s only Black friend Armstrong Williams today is questioning why Joe Biden is holding an inauguration:

This is coming from the same guy who fiercely advocated for Donald Trump’s right to hold super spreader campaign rallies. But he now wants to question an event aimed at celebrating our democracy— the transfer of power from one administrative to the next, which has been done peacefully in our nation’s history... up to this year.
Armstrong, you can’t light the fire than blame the homeowner for their house burning down. You’re a hypocrite.
