Another Flint-Saginaw TV station could be up for sale.
Meredith, which owns TV 5, is looking to break up its publishing and TV business.

The move is likely a precursor to a sale since it would be easier to find separate buyers for the TV and publishing than a buyer who wants both areas.
TV5 has had stable ownership compared to 25-66 which has seen a revolving door of owners looking to pillage the last place station (Barrington to current owner Sinclair/Howard Stirk Holdings)... and ABC 12 (ABC/Disney to Lily to current owner Gray).
While Meredith is fixated on gimmicks, trust me, it could be worse. Ask anyone who lived through Lily and Sinclair transitions. Good luck, my friends.
