The NBA, MLB, MLS, WNBA and other major sports leagues took a brave stance yesterday in the wake of the murder of Jacob Blake.

How soon before these protests impact other areas of society — including media organizations — where oppression, including the lack of representation in key management/decision-making roles? Look at most broadcasting companies and you’d believe you’re still living in the 1960’s — all white men. Exhibit A: Sinclair Broadcast Group

Let’s try a different model — one that includes more diverse voices than just the old white male dinosaurs that make up Sinclair’s board and corporate team.
