Joel Feick, Ex Reporter turned Politician

Instead of covering politics, ex-ABC 12, 25-66 anchor and reporter Joel Feick is now running for the Grand Blanc Township Board of Trustees... as a Republican.

In other words, "I need money."

$5,702 a year, but the trustees gave themselves an additional $4,000 bonus last year.

He's got no side-gig with Mott anymore. No cushy anchor job where he has to "mentor" young reporters on the weekends.

And for everyone claiming that the “media” is liberal elite... I give you another example of a common sense Republican in the form of Joel Feick.

Saying the media isn’t liberal because of Joel Feick (who, by the way, isn’t in media anymore), is like saying NBC25/FOX66 is diverse because of Mike Woolfolk.

Lovin: Ask the former egomaniac in chief or the current in over her head News Director and they will tell you that 25-66 is diverse and there’s no problem. They’ve stopped participating in NABJ-NAHJ conferences. Surprised that local Flint-Saginaw Assoc. of Black Journalists President Ebony Stith hasn’t called out her former station for the lack of progress in hiring and keeping diverse staff of journalists.

Now would be a perfect opportunity for the lack of diversity and lack of NABJ-NAHJ participation to be called out at NBC25/FOX66 publicly.
