Newscasts From Home (WNEM)

What is it with newscasts being done from home and studio? Watching WNEM tonight and David Custer is reporting from home and Meg Mcloud is in the studio. I am pretty sure they'd be more than 6 feet apart in the studio. Just sayin'... :rollin

On WWTV 9&10 the two weather chicks have been sent home, and appear sparingly on facebook now. The sports guy is on the air, but reporting from home. Otherwise, from what I can tell, the rest of the crew is in the studio, spaced appropriately apart.

As for 5, does anyone know why Custer always seems to get more consideration than the others? Will Cher destroy the station otherwise?

For a time it seemed like stations were allowing people to stay home who had either small children or a significant other who was higher risk. Now it just seems like it's the "cool" thing to do.
