Lovin: Ask people what they want? Why would the HR Director/Party Planner do that? She’d be outta a job. Better for her to plan an event, have little participation from news because everything is planned for midday when: a) the morning team has gone, b) the dayside team is out working, and c) is all wrapped up by the time the nightside team arrives for work. Then she complains about the lack of morale. It’s never her fault... it’s always someone else’s fault that her lame ideas don’t attract participation except for a few butt kissers.
