Everyone is doing similar "segments" of sorts. Many people truly are complete imbeciles and have to be told how to wash their hands, among other things...

We should stick with stories that focus on what local institutions are doing to prepare and respond. We don’t need to do this crap on hand washing.
It’s a choice. And news and station managers need to set the example about how we are going to be the calm voice during this outbreak... we don’t need to be alarmist or talk down to viewers. But that doesn’t get “clicks”. SMH

In the defense of the news being for dumb people, 38% of Americans polled said that they won't drink Corona beer due to the virus.
