He was another of the radio people from the pre-deregulation era, when local radio was actually that. I've found his post-career comments on that time as enlightening, and I'm saddened to learn of his passing.
I'd think he'd merit more notice here on the 'board, but sometimes the noise from the current world crowds out what else is going on.
