Wednesday evening (May 29) alert: The Buzzboard is experiencing server response time issues. The slow page loading may be the result of scheduled maintenance my hosting provider is currently performing on its servers and software. I anticipate the problem being resolved by sometime on Friday, May 31. Thank you in advance for your patience during this period.

One of the main complaints from viewers is that all the news is the same. It doesn’t matter which station you turn to, it’s all the same press release fed talking points.

This just proves the point…

If you can’t bother to send a crew, maybe it’s just not an important story.

Much more than ever I'm seeing local TV news shops introducing news stories "from our sister station in..... (insert name of other Michigan city); or "our affiliate in....." in order to get a news story (even a light-hearted feature) from elsewhere in the state.
Reason? :expanded local newscasts without an expanded staff..
