Starting to wonder if anyone at Fox17's traffic department has any brain activity. (by "Traffic", I am not referring to Robb Westaby's primary reporting area, but the scheduling people). Just before today (Sept 17)'s Detroit Lions telecast, I saw a promo for Drew Barrymore that stated "moving to 11am on September 11" followed by a "watch this May" promo for the Jennifer Hudson Show stating the airtime as "Weekdays at 1". 1) It is now September, 2) The show now airs at 5pm 3) the show now airs on WXSP. The third clue body's home in scheduling was on Friday night, I saw a promotion to "Watch Weather Kids Tuesdays on Fox 17 Unfiltered"-which had ceased production one week prior.

was about to post the new set's debut as well. It has alot of similar features as WOOD. Curious who designed each station's set. I have noticed so far with the new set that Fox17 is no longer having reporters in the control room nor are the meteorologists reporting from the weather center in the back of the news room (which had windows into the control room.)

I'm extremely impressed! It looks stunningly good. MASSIVE upgrade over the old set.

Looks much nicer and higher budget than big sister WXYZ in Detroit.

Best news set in the market far & away.

You do have Dan Boers running the news operation at 17, as he had at WOOD until what, 12-15 months ago, for the sake of any similarities in the set designs.

After seeing it on air this morning via Roku, I will say some of the camera angles in the studio could be better implemented.
