Love the commercials as well. I forgot that the anchors back in the day reported their stories by glancing down at the typed sheet of paper on the desk.

Yankee Stores in the late 60's until around 1972 & it became "Zodys" in Midland, MI until December 24, 1974 when it closed down in Stadium Plaza!!

The cryptic weather and sports were my favorite segments. The graphics and slides to set the scene for particular sports reports brought back memories, along with the magnetic weather boards.

There used to be a Yankee store in Essexville, on Center where the Kroger is now.
