What happened to Kim St James? She was one of the best jocks in that building and was excellent during the Nash era. She actually knew the format and audience well.

According to her Facebook page and their website, shes doing 10-3 at WHNN in Saginaw....

I meant, why is she gone from Thunder? She's still with the company and is local. Why would they have an ill-fitting jock track that shift instead of someone in the format? Especially since they have Kim tracking middays elsewhere?

Keep your well-known country talent in Kim on locally and let the other lady shout at the audience in Bay City.

Are you new here? Cumulus GR has the worst stations in the market by far. Head scratching decisions are their trademark.

The only one worth a damn is programmed in AA and they forgot to even mention it when they announced a new GM this week. Or maybe they aren't even allowed to touch that station locally?

Revisiting the Christian AC discussion from earlier, I just saw that 91.9 WGTS in Washington, D.C. scored a 7.9 share. That's easily the strongest showing in that station's history. 96.3 WHUR barely edged them out for first place overall.

New numbers were posted at 5PM today; new all-time station record (12+) for 91.3 WCSG!

WGRD and WSNX both took a bit of a hit, as did WKLQ. WLAV's rebound continues. Another solid book for WFGR. Blunder 107.3 nearly tied its all-time record low.

I know personally, I have been listening less and less to WGRD... the same old tired songs repeated hourly, and so many commercial interruptions. FBHW is getting a bit lame lately as well.

You're being kind by calling their stale show "a bit lame."

Content became watered down right around the time Kelly joined the show. She has no business being on a rock radio morning show.

Free Beer sounds like a robotic booth announcer when he speaks.

In the last ratings WTNR-FM 107.3 "Blunder Country" dropped to a 1.2% share from a 1.6% share. A format change is needed.

But then you would have nothing to talk about.

He’d pick another station to yam on. He does the same thing in the Detroit section.

Does broadcast radio still exist anymore?

Yes. Broadcast radio reaches 93% of the American population. That includes 93% of the 18+ population and 98% of the 50 and over crowd. The 18-34 demo is the lowest but still stands at 87%, according to Nielsen.

While some companies are expanding their reach with digital, podcast, and other initiatives. Broadcast is still a highly effective way to reach an audience.
