The WGHN folks are downsizing. 93.1 WMPA is going to West Central MI Media Ministries (the "Strong Tower Radio" folks) for $420K. Their Grand Rapids affiliate is 89.7 WNHG (the former "Way-FM" flagship).
Meanwhile, Cano is finally purchasing the WMJH 93.3 translator outright from World Radio Link for the whopping sum of $100.

Re: More station sales
Too bad regarding WMPA. Competing with city grade signals from WMRR and WLAV probably didn't help their cause. 100.9 from Muskegon also plays a healthy amount of classic rock.
Recall that when WMPA switched to classic rock from country, WLAV was running reduced power from the 107.3 stick, which is a good 40 to 45 miles from the lakeshore. These days WLAV blasts into Grand Haven.

Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.

Daggummit...that's sad news. I enjoyed WMPA, especially Alice Cooper at night.
