Heather Walker leaving WOOD TV

Heather Walker just announced on her Facebook account that she is leaving WOOD TV at the end of this month.

I don't often watch but it seems like she was a weekend anchor who never worked weekends? Her social media suggests she's perhaps more into traveling, which is cool.

Has a reputation as the least friendly reporter in the field with competition....bar none.

Heather only did Sunday anchoring all the best to Heather wherever she is headed or getting out of the business as it seems a lot are getting out of the business. Since the TV business is low-paying at the local level. I'm surprised that Heather wasn't friendly when she was out in the field with the competition as I thought they were all friends in the field.

Not a big fan of her work although she is less green than when she first started at WOOD, so I'll give her credit for that.

Any word on where she's headed?

She does an OK job on the streets but behind the desk has trouble with the prompter often enough that it's noticeable. Has she announced what she's doing next? My bets is a world traveler or instagram model.

Terrible with the teleprompter! TERRIBLE on a weekly basis and has trouble pronouncing west Michigan names.....Wabasis? You have been here how long?
