The Local Roster for Scripps TV keeps changin'...

It wasn't a corporate cut that occurred, but Zach Harig of FOX 17 announced he will step down from full-time reportorial duties Nov. 5, with his newest gig being Community Relations and Public Relations Coordinator for Gun Lake Casino. Zach said on Twitter that he will do sports freelancing for WXMI hereafter.

Don't recall a larger turnover than theirs in the market, on the air and in the offices, behind the scenes.

and to refresh a thought in another thread in this forum, from my good friend statmanmi, Ryan Cummings has bailed on WXMI employ and will head off to Indy, to sell insurance.

Corporate operations seem to have taken much of the luster from being on-air.

Ironic to think how much relief there was when Sinclair was ruled unable to keep 17, yet Scripps falls into their laps, and while clearly a less unethical company than Sinclair, Scripps is quickly becoming one of the least desired companies to work for in the industry nationwide.
