Blunder 107.3's outsourced morning show is about to change again

Post by MWmetalhead » Sun Oct 03, 2021 6:37 am

"Morning Koffy" apparently was a flop, so now Cumulus' is going to syndicate the morning show from its ho-hum country station in Atlanta (which often loses, sometimes badly, to iHM's station there):

https://radioinsight.com/headlines/2135 ... -stations/

Since the launch of Cumulus' national country programming strategy originally known as Nash, this will be morning show #5, by my count. One could argue show #4, since Ty Bentli was lead for two of the former shows.

So "No change foreseen" in 107.3s ratings.

Maybe they could try Big D and Bubba? This Hillbilly Duo is helping WMKC in the great north, put the hammer down on the competition. Couldn't hurt.

I'm right, aren't I?

Blunder will never beat B-93 by doing the exact same format and without a local morning show they probably will do
worse in the ratings than before if that's possible.

What an impotent mess Thunder is, why again did they dump the Nash imaging?

B93 hasn't had a fully local morning show in over a year, yet they've made NO improvements in ratings or revenue.

You have to wonder if this is going to be a priority for the new management team.

Seems to me there is a pretty successful local country morning show on the beach in GR right now

If I Heart GR really wanted to save money, it would sublet two of it's three floors at 77 Monroe Center.
