The B-93 birthday bash will be canceled again this summer, to return next year.

If something like ten thousand tickets were sold a year ago, at an average price of $100 dollars each, that works out to a million dollars. I Heart is returning the money just now.

That is a year long, million dollar, interest free loan, from listeners.

If I Heart GR really wanted to save money, it would sublet two of it's three floors at 77 Monroe Center.

Reese WION has a Birthday party every year at Bertha Brock Park just a little west of Ionia. Lots of listeners and engineers attend. It's free and from what I hear a fantastic time. Forget about corporate radio festivals and try something like this. Heck I bet if you call WION they will save a hot dog and a bag of chips for ya. Ha..

Just curious. Are you a public restroom located somewhere in Bay City? Is there a user fee?

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Hope it isn't on the river... (j/k)

I suspect the WION team does a great job with the event.
