Kevin hasn't touched his Facebook page since June. Ashley Asphalt? The name is an insult to anyone with a brain.

If I Heart GR really wanted to save money, it would sublet two of it's three floors at 77 Monroe Center.

Ashley Asphalt is in Detroit, reporting on the Total Traffic Network, owned by i heart, which services many stations in the region.

Hi All,

I'm going to guess that Kevin Richards just had a week of vacation. I'm pretty certain I heard him on WOOD AM/FM some or all the week before (7/13-17).

Too funny I had to read here what the lady's voice was identifying as! Somehow I wasn't clearly hearing Asphalt, as it had been sounding more like "Ashley Amsphal" to my ears. Plus, Thursday and Friday, it honestly seemed more like the name was a recorded insertion...just the way some slight pauses and different treble sounded before and after the name.

On a personal note, I'll sadly not be needing to rely on traffic reports for a bit--as I was indeed furloughed at end-of-day Friday, per what I was told in early June. Thanks COVID--not! Healthcare has a longer timeline to revenue realization, but my employer has called back some of the furloughers from May--so this might just be an intermission for me.

Cheers! ~~ Statmanmi
