Do you really want to go down the road of opening up judges to criminal or even civil liability for the rulings they issue?
I think at minimum, there should be clear dashboards made available to the public with regard to judicial rulings and actions in criminal cases.

Judges who show egregious disregard for the public's welfare should be subject to sanctions, and in some instances, civil suits. I don't believe this specific example rises to that level.

If somebody really wants someone out, they will not give him a second chance.
