How much education does the average MI voter have?

Thought this was interesting:

https://ballotpedia.org/Michigan_Propos ... ive_(2022)

Just looking at the number for Proposal 3, they show the "readability" scores as:
The FKGL for the ballot title is grade level 17, and the FRE is 9. The word count for the ballot title is 41.

The FKGL for the ballot summary is grade level 13, and the FRE is 17. The word count for the ballot summary is 100.

The FKGL equates to years of education, so you need either 17 years or 13 years to understand either.

The FRE scale looks like this:
Score School level
90 to 100 5th grade
80 to 90 6th grade
70 to 80 7th grade
60 to 70 8th and 9th grade
50 to 60 10th to 12th grade
30 to 50 College
0 to 30 College graduate

So, if this is accurate, you need to be a college graduate to even understand the proposal title or the summary.

What percent of likely voters are qualified to do that?

They have the other proposals too, I just used this one as an example.

They/them, non-binary and proud.

The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

I try to avoid politics as a rule but I mentioned in another thread about this house near me, that always has all this political crap out in front of during election season. I've been seeing more of this in my travels around, Monroe and Lenawee county Michigan and even say Fulton and Williams county Ohio.

My first thought is " Oh shut the &^% up" and I also say that if I see some old Toyota Tercel cluttered with stuff like Save the whales, the military should have a bake sale, COEXIST, and other stuff.

To answer the question, I would have to say Junior High level education. As well as some have a Junior High level ability to be able to argue in a smart way, no I take that back, pre-school ability :lol

Checks out.

What's more pathetic: harassing an old man who is paying to do a radio show or supporting a grifter like Trump?

I don’t either, but when called upon….BBA with honors.

BA here… wanted to do something with Journalism… majorly turned off to it in my internship… I witnessed fudging of the facts to make it seem more tantalizing and I just can’t go there.
