Whitmer might get a reprieve

Post by km1125 » Sat Mar 06, 2021 2:08 pm

While Granholm steps back into the spotlight to help "fix" Michigan's energy problems (along with the rest of the nation):

U.S. Energy Secretary Calls on Oil and Gas Companies to Embrace Green Transition or Risk Being Left in the Dust
https://gcaptain.com/u-s-energy-secreta ... -the-dust/

Notable quote in that article: "Granholm has said she will draw on her experience revitalizing Michigan’s economy after the 2008 recession"

:rollin :rollin :rollin

If you don't already have one, now would be a good time to pick up a portable generator or install a whole-house unit. They're going to be increasingly hard to find once her programs start gaining traction.

Granholm was incompetent. Whitmer is incompetent AND a tyrant.

What's more pathetic: harassing an old man who is paying to do a radio show or supporting a grifter like Trump?

In all the time you’ve been on this board, this has been your mantra, I don’t believe you’ve ever said a positive thing about a Democrat. If you have, it’s been an absolute rarity

In all fairness, most of the regular lefties in the politics forums have never once said a positive thing about a Republican.

Oh, and as to the subject matter here, Whitmer has absolutely earned the title of "tyrant" as far as I'm concerned.

We really have some low bars to clear for “socialist” “tyrant” and “fascist” around here from some of you.

I have agreed with Republicans on certain facts about the pandemic. Agreed with former President Trump calling this the China flu as it originated in China. I disagreed with governor Whitmer about restricting the use of hyroxychloroquine. In addition, I feel that Republicans were right about monoclonal antibodies and Dems have not focused on it enough.

As far as most everything else relating to the pandemic, you all know that I support our governor.

They/them, non-binary and proud.

Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

You really show a consistent hatred for powerful women.

No, I don't. I support accomplished women like Condoleezza Rice, Kristi Noem, Nikki Haley, and Elise Stefanik. You seriously need to knock off the racist and sexist bullshit.

I added him to my blocked list after Rush Limbaugh's death. Was definitely a solid decision.

You're calling Kristi Noem compentent? Have you seen how poorly things are going with COVID in South Dokota?

I would agree with you that Nikki is a great well-balanced leader. The other two you listed worked for men, so I wouldn't exactly call them leaders.

Noem is just barely a cut above Bobert and Greene... not at all impressive.
