And so what is coming out?

That the virus is racist, infecting more blacks than non-blacks.

And that health care workers are racist, that's why they need bias training or the governor is going to suspend their licenses.

Anyone who does work in the lower income parts of town will tell you many folks in those parts were more lasidasical about the virus when it started, than folks in outlying areas.

Racial bias training for health officials because Covid-19 was more prevalent among the "black" population? What a bunch of hogwash.

It is VERY clear that Covid-19 was much more deadly in people with health issues and obesity. Medical professionals are supposed to be responsible for lifestyle choices now?

Lets take one subset. Obesity. The percentage of the black population considered obese in the State of Michigan is 39.9 percent. The white population is 29.9 percent. Knowing that obesity is a risk factor, wouldn't it make perfect sense that more black folks are going to have problems? Oh No. Our medical professionals are racist.

It's disgusting that the "journalists" we have around never challenged the math when Whitmer and Company were first launching the "racial disparity" of Covid and saying "40% of the affected are A-A, when A-A only make up 14% of the state's demographics" (albeit paraphrased).

At the time, most of the cases and deaths were in Detroit and Wayne County. What do the demographic numbers look like there??

I'm saying it again. And I think I got flamed for saying it the first time.
I do some side work where I have to take papers to where people live and watch them get signed. Or pick them up, or whatever. The lower the income (and it's not a color thing, I've seen this with whites in Redford and Westland), the more lackadaisical they were about it when it started. When the governor and the mayor were telling folks STAY HOME, they were just laughing it off. I totally understand why the city has SO many compared to the other areas of Metro Detroit.
