It's for the best.

I'll let you have that one for free as well... since I'm so charitable.

I saw an article that Whitmer might consider closing hair salons again. I think that's more of a scare tactic. Even in states where restrictions have been put back into place, hair and nail salons have been allowed to remain open (including AZ, CA, FL, TX, and other states seeing big spikes).

Michigan is nowhere near AZ/CA/FL/TX level as (a) we have plenty of capacity in hospitals now and (b) the positivity rate is still low

I have read or heard that quite a few states may be "dialing it back". Seems visitors from other states, and those who have decided not to follow any sort of protocols are causing issues like rising numbers of hospitals intakes. Not nationwide, not even state wide where it is happening but in "hotspots". I think by the end of July, quite a few states will be doing some sort of backword steps in reopening.

I will only do business with those who do not require a mask of me.
Same here.

Non mask wearers who are otherwise healthy should be fined to help defray the massive cost burden our medical organizations are incurring due to their irresponsible behavior.

I did not support the governor closing many business for so long but I can live with the mask requirement, as long as It allows businesses to be open.

So should people also be fined for refusing to be vaccinated once a vaccine comes out?

No. I will not accept a vaccine without years of testing.

The difference on the mask is once it is removed everything returns to normal.

Good point. If the socialist get their way, yes there will be fines if you refuse vaccinations. Just watch how this mask thing plays out, That’s why I refuse wearing a mask and besides the mask does nothing for protection.

Homemade masks offer limited protection incoming once it becomes airborne.

They do keep the outgoing particles close in.

Lucky615 - I thought you had respiratory issues???

People who do not vaccinate once it is proven safe to do so should be charged much higher insurance premiums (just as smokers and heavy drinkers are charged more).

But what about fines? Should they be fined? Sounds like you agree that not getting a vaccination (at least once proven safe) would constitute "irresponsible behavior."
