I personally think the BLM protests are ok but the knuckleheads Doing their thing could use some reeling in. I would advocate for peaceful removal by going through a town council at a meeting or whatever the process would be. But no not a leftist who is afraid to admit it. The libertarian tendencies stop any further leftward progression. Leftist however has become a pejorative term... currently Trump uses it to describe any Democrat regardless of actual views. Right wing media does the same thing.

The best example I can think of is Kiersten Sinema out in Arizona I’m here 2018 race where she beat Martha McSally... I remember distinctly Sean Hannity spending night after night labeling the woman a far left radical and a leftist... she has ended up being one of the most conservative Democrats second only to Joe Manchin in how often she crosses the aisle. Hardly a leftist at all.

Thanks, that sentiment is appreciated. I come from a long line of very liberal folks some of whom approach the progressive end of the spectrum... I've heard it said our politics are genetic and intertwined with our brain wiring. If that supposition is correct it may be hard to change the basic wiring. That said unlike some on here I’m happy to adapt my stances to new information and I happen to find you a worthy debate opponent.
