That's a bit ironic, isn't it?

The mainstream media - at least initially - was painting Texas as being excessively lax in efforts to mitigate spread of COVID-19, yet someone down there was actually arrested for defying stay-home orders.

He got another win at the county level.

Meanwhile Whitmer wins round 1 of the fight over the constitutionality of the orders and yet another poll finds 63% approving of her handling of the crisis overall.

Wow, 63% of Michiganders are getting weekly unemployment checks that are more than they make working? I knew there were some, didn't think it was that high.

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

If you truly believe those numbers... have I EVER got you an excellent deal on a dam in Edenville, MI!

The judge ruled as expected. We'll see how the appeal goes.

The appeals court ruled against him now too, overturning the Shiawassee county judge. The ordered him to close and sign something. He refused and is still open. The barbers lawyer has vowed to appeal to the Michigan Supreme Court. So this will indeed determine the legitimacy or not of the orders. What’s the political makeup of the State Supreme Court?

So unless there’s a crossover the order and her right to impose it at Will is going to die.

One assumes that had the Owosso barber kept his shop closed and his mouth shut we’d be orange right now.
