I don't really have a problem with this, but was it really necessary?

Are there issues with supply trucks going unfilled solely because of the weight restrictions?

Is it possible to put over 4,000 cases of water in one semi-truck trailer?

I think normally you spread it out rather than packing the thing to the gills... too heavy and you have to go back and unload product. This way you fit whatever it’ll hold and vamoose...

I'm just thinking for things that really need to get shipped... bread, toilet paper, etc, that there's no way you could jam enough into a semi and get near the load limits.

Water, maybe and perhaps some cleaning supplies that are mostly water-based, but even then it would have to be packed to the gills and what I'm hearing is there isn't even enough supply up the chain to do that.

What are some examples I'm missing where this would really be a legitimate issue?
