Except that one of them has done (and is doing) great things for our country and our world and the other wasted away an opportunity to become a visionary and absolute star to many. There were high hopes and a LOT of bipartisan and multi-ethnic support for Kwame when he was running and when he got elected. He eviscerated most of that over his first couple years and confirmed the suspicions the last couple years.

Saw some folks this morning on the 'Let it Rip' show advocating for is release. The one woman (Rep from Detroit?) said she gave a letter directly to Trump and to Kushner laying out why they think he should be released.
To me, they didn't make a very strong case. They tried to relate to to Blagovich's release, but I think that's an apples-to-oranges case. Blago's actions might have led to him getting a few $$ from some folks for nominating someone to Senate, but how much did Kwame cost Detroit and the State of Michigan directly in $$$??
I think there's a big difference between 'enriching yourself' and 'sabotaging your city and state'. Both should be (and are) crimes suitable for prison, but Kwame deserved a whole lot more time than Blago.
