If I were a democrat, I would want Biden to be indicted for all his shady dealings.
If Trump is incarcerated, and therefore unelectable, another republican will rise up and will likely beat Biden. Therefore, if I were a democrat, I would want Biden incarcerated as well, not just for consistency, morality, and ethics, but also to get him out of the way to get a better candidate.
