Since so many vaccinated and boosted people are getting Omicron, they have to focus on another nothing burger, like one year ago when a few dozen drunken hillbillies nearly took over the world’s most powerful country.

From my point of view, it may have been more than an "event," but it certainly falls far short from an "insurrection" as most of the left and their media stooges have branded it.

The hullabaloo over this is nothing more than an attempt to keep Trump from running again in 2024. Liz Cheney admitted as much in a ABC interview. It is also a handy way to deflect attention from the miserable performance of the current CIC for a brief moment.
It’s par for the course.

All the “insurrections” across the country under the “mostly peaceful” DNC-fundraising BLM riots were ignored, while a few dozen drunken hillbillies nearly taking control over the most powerful country in the world of around 330 million people was portrayed as just that.
