Ideological purity is a sign of weakness not strength. Healthy political parties have a variety of voices and ideas. Dying ones have no platform and cannot articulate any vision for the future. The Republican Party had no platform this year besides support Trump and Donald Trump has not articulated any vision or plans for a second term. It’s like he doesn’t want the job anymore. Actually that sounds about right
