"It was irresponsible and antithetical to what we were supposed to be doing as journalists.” the former Sinclair producer said. “It is surprising, but for the most part, I think our viewers were able to see commentary for what it was.”
So on one hand, this free, er, former-Sinclair producer calls these must-run republican propaganda pieces “irresponsible,” but then goes back and says viewers weren’t stupid enough to see them as truthful. Hmmmm. Speaking out of both sides of their mouth.

Most people fail to acknowledge or conveniently forget the fact that William Jefferson Harris was the biggest supporter of Sinclair taking control of two stations in the Flint market. During his quid pro quo “semi-retirement” party at the Capitol Theater, in addition to cursing several times in front of his kids and grandkids into a live mic, he said that employees “better pray that it happens” regarding Sinclair taking over NBC25. Then, the union gets tossed out, he gets his kid a job, and he’ll likely make his full-retirement exit at the end of the year. Merry Christmas!

The constant LL posts bashing Bill Harris are great comedy. Just what did Bill do to you???
What did he do to me? The same thing he did for news. Nothing.

He’s the most overrated, ineffective news anchor in the Flint market.

His claim to fame is literally his age.

He has broken no significant news stories, quite possibly no insignificant ones either. Don’t believe me? Name one. You can’t.

He cheers for Boston teams over Detroit teams, Boston University over any Michigan universities, and has produced more positively-spun police stories than any news person possibly ever.

His wife is a retired 911 dispatcher and he got paid to provide positive PR for law enforcement. So has he had opportunity to reveal police corruption? You bet! He’s literally in bed with them and yet the other stations will break a story on police corruption before him.
