Journalism has been dying for a number of years. In my opinion, it started back when NBC falsified their report on the Ford Gas Tanks fires to "enhance their report". They got sued and lost. Been going downhill ever since. Really dropped off around 2007 and tanking every day. I stopped watching the National news about 5 years ago, and stopped watching the local garbage about 4 months ago. It is sad. I do remember a time when journalism was honest and had integrity......No more.
