I really do dislike seafood, but I have family who love it, so I've gone to Red Lobster and tolerated their disgusting non-seafood menu in the past. Some of the worst steak you will ever eat. Then they drag their feet on bringing out shrimp. They bring just a few out then will sit on their hands for a half hour and bring out some nasty shrimp.
The problem that Red Lobster faced with the whole AYCE shrimp isn't because the cost of shrimp is so high, the problem is that they priced it too low, so they couldn't put in place everything that needed to be in place to make it work.
If they doubled the price on it, offered consistent quality, included options that weren't available at competitors, and had servers on the floor looking to push more onto people's plate or less, then things would have worked better. Hell, the typical setup of a Red Lobster seems to accommodate there being several different sections, ask guests when they come in if they are there for the endless shrimp offer and escort them to a smaller section and have servers accommodate guests similar to how Brazilian steakhouses work. Set the price accordingly, then push higher margin options like cocktails.
Everyone wants to compete on cost. Stop being afraid of being the best.

Why would you go to Red Lobster when you could go to Eddie V's? It's not that much more expensive and you get a better meal.

I gotta say, when you try to appear aggressive, it comes of more amusing than anything else. Like feel free to keep it up, but it's kinda clear that in real life you're a total cuckold.

Look back over the conversation and tell me who was having difficulty holding it together!Rate This wrote: ↑Sun May 26, 2024 10:13 pmBecause no matter what happens and how each iteration lasts a little longer you just can’t hold it together.Bail Bonds wrote: ↑Sun May 26, 2024 9:49 pmWhy though?Matt wrote: ↑Sun May 26, 2024 9:44 pmThis account will be in the DBR soon enough.Bail Bonds wrote: ↑Sun May 26, 2024 9:38 pmI'm sorry, did I say they weren't?Honeyman wrote: ↑Sun May 26, 2024 6:51 pmUh.....thats the point. Just finished up at Sketchers. I am eating at the 12 Oaks Red Lobster right now.
