Great voice that is unmistakable!

I enjoyed his on-air work at WCSX. R.I.P.

WDIV just teased a story regarding his passing.

He had just hosted the CSX Holiday Beatles Blitz two weeks ago. Did a great job. RIP.

Great guy, through and through. He will be missed.

I don't see any mention of WRIF, WCSX, or WJR website or Facebook. Fucking sickening.

KC was also PD at WABX for a couple years.

What a shame. Ken was a legend here, in both radio and with the Pistons. He touched so many lives over his career too. So unfortunate this happened just before Christmas, and ten years to the day of his retirement from CSX. R.I.P. Ken. You will be missed.

This is sad. The Holiday Blues are a real threat to mental health and can even pop up before Christmas. If anyone is experiencing them, please call 988.

He once came to speak to my high school radio class describing what it was like to be a DJ. Ironically, he later teamed up for a time on air in the mornings with Joe Nipote, who was in that class with me. Nipote also had a career as a stand-up and an actor.

I began listening to CSX semi-regularly when he was hired for afternoon drive there. I want to say that was 2000 or 2001? The station started sounding better around that time (it was a very weak sauced classic rocker before then).

I was very impressed by how good he sounded in that time slot.
