Bob Page, his once television partner, just reiterated that - in a successful far-flung sports media career that took him from Detroit to NYC - if he ever decided to write a book "about the amazing characters [he] knew & covered in sports, Ron Cameron would be the ONLY guy who'd get TWO chapters." Adding he "couldn't tell it all in just ONE." Ron was a character of the highest order. An SNL character come to life as I've often noted. Also, a modern-day Norma Desmond.
