Please stop that, it is dumb, even if done in a playful teasing sort of sense.

Attention Weather Forecasters
Re: Attention Weather Forecasters
Thankfully you named names so we have an earthly clue which one you’re talking about without recording everything they’ve ever said to check later.SolidGoldDancers wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 8:47 amYou know who you are, the ones who think the viewers blame you for the weather.

Forecasters get teased about the weather every day, from everyone they know to strangers that recognizes them. Common way for friends, family and co-workers to start a conversation. It doesn't bother them.SolidGoldDancers wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 8:47 amYou know who you are, the ones who think the viewers blame you for the weather.

Life is not a dress rehearsal. This is it. There's no going back, and we can only go forward before we run out of runway.

Most of them, but the biggest offender is the Weather Mom on Channel 4.Rate This wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 9:33 amThankfully you named names so we have an earthly clue which one you’re talking about without recording everything they’ve ever said to check later.SolidGoldDancers wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 8:47 amYou know who you are, the ones who think the viewers blame you for the weather.

That's fine for workplace humor, but saying "I know I'm gonna get blamed for this weekend's weather..." on the air is asinine.Round Six wrote: ↑Thu Nov 16, 2023 4:09 pmForecasters get teased about the weather every day, from everyone they know to strangers that recognizes them. I may of not done a good job expressing what I said before. Everyone teases forecasters about the weather. Not only at work, but family and friends. And complete strangers that recognize them in the Piggly Wiggly. It's the nature of the job.SolidGoldDancers wrote: ↑Fri Nov 17, 2023 11:16 amThat's fine for workplace humor, but saying "I know I'm gonna get blamed for this weekend's weather..." on the air is asinine.
