That's far too young an age to lose a spouse. Bernie seems like a good dude. I pass along my deepest condolences.

Dr. Rockwell, was a well known psychologist. She would appear on TV often, and was a regular on CNN, when the network was brand new.
This is very sad. I was not aware that she was ill.

It seems it might have been sudden in that Bernie was doing his usual sports last week as far as I know and then she dies on Saturday.Colonel Flagg wrote: ↑Mon Oct 09, 2023 6:04 pmDr. Rockwell, was a well known psychologist. "In a shaky voice that I barely recognized, Bernie told me that his wife of 38 years, Donna, had passed away in the middle of the night from a sudden blood clot. She woke up saying her heart was racing. Minutes later, she was gone. She died in his arms."

I don't see that at all from reading the story. You're the only one who's making this about Mitch.
Get over it. Perhaps it's time to seek help from a mental health professional.

He may not make it ALL about himself. But yet he can't let a column pass with out at least some self flagellation. It'll be like, don't you hate when people don't put their grocery carts back? I know when I was at the store which carries my best selling book, they don't put them away.Colonel Flagg wrote: ↑Tue Oct 17, 2023 11:08 amI don't see that at all from reading the story. Did you see that game? I missed it because I was at my orphanage in Haiti helping poor children because I'm so much more caring than you are.
Then this from the article about Donna:
I knew Donna for more than 30 years. My wife and I adored her. She once asked to interview me on what it’s like to be well-known, for a thesis on the subject.
If its someone else, it's barely noticeable. But Mitch has to do that in every column. He used to be a must read. Not anymore. Ironically, one of the things I loved about Drew and Mike is how much they ripped him.

He's a columnist, not a reporter. His personal voice being inserted into the article is exactly the difference between the two.
