CBS62 was completely absent. Are they even located in Michigan to miss that a tornado is about to hit a Metro Detroit town?

Weather girl Barbie kept telling viewers they needed to go to their "safe space". Ugh. Mispronounced multiple city names.(reminded me of the old Channel 7 commercials mocking other stations lack of local knowledge...Gra tee ott avenue, Ron Le Flower) Didn't exactly give confidence that she got her job for her talent or knowledge. Completely out of her element. Kim Adams was clearly the best with coverage, explaining what was happening and why. Went over the differences (for those who still, unbelievably, don't know), between watches and warnings, showed graphics of where to take cover in your home(aka, your safe space) and had a calm, conversational demeanor and didn't appear flustered having to fill the time on the air.

When I was watching the live stream coverage on the 7 app, it was Hally Vogel. I don't know if it was the same feed on-air though.

I thought that "Barbie" on 2 did a good job considering she's new here, Kim did a god job also on 4 , I thought Haley looked a little lost on 7.

I agree that Haley seemed a bit overwhelmed at times. Brian Abel gave a much needed assist a couple times.

I thought 2 and 7 did a decent job overall. 4 was terrific. 62 was a joke.

On his Facebook page he had said he was out of town. Even out of town he still managed to post updates and warnings. No live video as he did before.

The one they chose to put on the air is a former morning radio sidekick with zero meteorological background. Perhaps they should've had someone else on-call given the severe weather risk.
