Wish the best result to Paul and his team. Not the biggest fan but I listen everyday from 6:00 to 7:00. I use his show to time myself every morning.. His theme song routine means I have to get up really soon, news at 7:00 means I better be close to leaving the house. I hope Guy does something similar.

Glad they are keeping Red Eye Radio. Those guys are a riot.

I wonder if this means Paul may retire or go part-time in a few years. More Fill-in hosts in the morning and now him moving to middays in a shorter timeslot. I have a buddy of mine who knows Paul personally and will ask him about these changes.

I also know there's a "Pre W. Smith show" that comes on at 5 in the morning before Paul starts. I wonder if that will continue.

At least Renwick will stay on as a host like he's doing in the interim when Bongino left.

I'm pretty sure Tom Jordan is of mixed race.

WJR will have a local programming block of some kind in the 5a hour.

Plenty of non-white broadcasters on 910 and 1130, both of which command audience sizes that are minuscule compared to WJR.

Let me have a show on WJR. It'll be local, and I can definitely find ways to blame my sore back and hang nail on Democrats.

I think it’s staying, just the name will be changing. First News, First Take. Something along those lines will be the new name. Paul W. mentioned it, and I got the impression nothing is really changing with that hour, other than the title.

“Pre-W smith show” is so very lame and weak. Pathetic. Amateur hour.
I call them the “nasally nattering nabobs of know-nothingness”. I do appreciate some of the re-run interviews but those three hosts are not very compelling in their conversation.

The 5th hour of Red-Eye guys, while they do stretch it out in the 4th hour, would be more compelling. Maybe cheaper.

At 5-6am, I often switch over to Mike and Lisa on CKLW and hear a good mix of light heartedness funny stories combined with discussion of Windsor and Canada news. Occasionally metro detroit. They have a good chemistry going.

I listen to WLS Chicago for that last hour. Great show! They don't take themselves too serious.

Mike and Lisa on CKLW is by far the best morning show in the area--you just have to get used to the fact that most of the content is about Windsor or Canada.

I enjoy listening to CKLW's programming throughout the day. Aside from when they're talking about specific local or government issues, many of the topics and content are fairly relatable to an American. It's also refreshing to hear alternative perspectives that aren't put through the lens of "democrat" and "republican".

You must be very easy to please my friend plus as for being centrist in content they are far from it maybe its hard to tell from across the border.

Dan Mac s show is the biggest propaganda machine in the windsor/detroit market.

They have the large share of audience because of no competition....if Blackburn had any balls they would flip 630 CFCO which has a very good daytime signal in Essex county to news/talk with a diff perspective.

I wish WJR would sound a lot less like WJR and a lot more like WLW.
Guy Gordon isn't Mike McConnell, that's for sure. He's not even Jim Scott. :smokin

Hey Windsor, I didn't say anything about their content being centrist. I just said it's about Canada.

I didn't say anything about being centrist either.
