I wish him well, and I look forward to a (hopefully) better anchor occupying his chair.

I did really enjoy his work in the sports department years ago.

Looks like not much interest on this topic but I agree with MW I liked him when he did sports.

Not much interest because he is bland. Good luck in retirement, try the spicy chicken.

The bigger angle is who are they gonna replace him with?

I don’t really give a rats ass as long as they are good at it.

Representation of what?

I would be nice if they replaced him with with a real journalist that had a good on-air presentation.

Davey Lew won’t be easily replaced. He anchors, reports, and hosts big events both on and off TV. He is well known in this market. Those aren’t roles that someone can just step in and fill instantly.
And not that it matters to viewers or the people in this forum, but he’s a really good guy. He’ll be missed in Broadcast House and beyond.

That's one thing that's obvious... he's a really nice guy. I've always like him.

I agree 100% but in today's world talent and ability dont always seem to be the #1 requirement.

Carolyn Clifford has been out a lot lately, it seems. What's up with that?

Carolyn Clifford missing in action again both yesterday and today.

Vacation time? Health issues (I hope not; that would suck)? Contract renewal time?
