You are correct, There were microwave towers between WKZO and WWTV, apparently owned by WWTV as they were mentioned in the nightly sign-offs years ago. There were in Gun Lake, Belding, Lakeview, and Emerald. In the sign-offs they were called 'auxiliary stations'.
