WJLB rockets to #1

Post by MWmetalhead » Thu Sep 08, 2022 7:06 am

A 7.9 share. Holy shit. Can anyone say "panel turnover" ?

Their cume number is only a bit higher than usual.

Did someone leave a meter next to a radio tuned to 97.9 for hours if not days on end? That's just an amazing result for a station that cumes under 500,000.

105.1 fell a half share and 107.5 fell a little more than that.

95.5 and especially 96.3 remain abnormally low. The voice tracked evening jock on 96.3 sucks, and so does his fake on-air handle (which belongs in 1993).

Wow. 97.1 beats WRIF. What is this world coming to?

That happens often in ages 6+, especially when counting streaming.

WRIF is almost always #1 in persons 25 to 54, regardless of what the fairly useless 6+ numbers say.

Lets see....

The Bounce is still holding its own. WDVD has taken a tumble and WDRQ isn't a ratings power house, but they have gotten better in the ratings, I think dumping The Nash FM name was a good move.

WLLZ is about in the same place they always are, this has been one of 106.7's more successful formats for sure but IMO the station is bland and boring to me. WDZH, honestly I really like these days, the ratings are holding steady in the low 2s not great but I don't think another format would do much more, unless you launched something like Rhythmic AC maybe.

WGPR, low ratings, what else is new?

That JLB number has to be inflated. No way.

I have been listening to a lot more 98.7 and the Bounce lately. I know I am not in their demo, but I don't know of anyone who listens to JLB.
They/them, non-binary and proud.

The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
