The songs "I Never Cry" (1976), "You And Me" (1977) & "How You Gonna See Me Now" (1978) co written by the late guitarist Dick Wagner!!!
“I Never Cry” and “You And Me” should be on WOMC’s playlist. Both songs fit the demographic for that station.
I'm sorry but I disagree
Why? In an earlier post you stated they should play "Poison" so why would "I Never Cry " and "You And I " not fit in the format?
Because Poison is that cheesy 80s butt rock that's all over the place. I Never Cry and You & Me are that slow ballad sound that would have worked 15-20 years ago in the format.
Exactly.
The 40 year olds in the 2000s that grew up with these 70s slow ballads are in their 60s now.
Way out of the demographic range.

The cheesy 80s butt rock still appeals to younger people

. The other day, WOMC, WCSX, and WLLZ were all playing Bon Jovi at the same time

This is why I have stopped listening to any terrestrial music stations in the Detroit market (occasionally 580AM does get my attention)
Thank god for Sirius/XM, Deep Cuts, Classic Vinyl , The Bridge, 70's on 7, 60's Gold, Soul Town channel.....

I loathe any and all that is "Bon Jovi".... :barf
